Gopinathpur is a village in Odisha, likely within the Badamba tehsil of Cuttack district, known for the Sri Singhanath Temple. The temple, dedicated to Shiva and Narasimha, features unique sculptural embellishments and is a popular pilgrimage site. The village's economy primarily relies on agriculture, with paddy being the main crop in the Kharif season and black gram/green gram in the Rabi season. 

Gopinathpur  comes under Lakhanpur wildlife range. Every year, over 2 lakh birds of around 100 different species migrate to the reservoir, spread over an area of 746 sq km, in October for breeding and stay put for six months before flying back
