​The village of Insur, located in Jhabua district of Madhya Pradesh, has a history rooted in tribal communities and natural beauty, particularly the Bhil tribe. Jhabua, where Insur is situated, was founded in the 16th century by a Banjari freebooter and served as the capital of the Jhabua princely state. After India's independence, Jhabua became part of the newly created Madhya Bharat state, which was later merged into Madhya Pradesh.
